Benelli 350 Quattro

I got this mid seventies Benelli, minus its original 350cc four cylinder engine, when I was at college in Portsmouth. Found a GS550 engine and started building the bike in my bedroom. Then it ended up back at home where I added an FZ600 swing arm and shock and a single seat, apparently from a Powervalve of some kind although I can’t remember what. Naturally I completely failed to finish it – I just didn’t have the skills, although looking at it now it shouldn’t have been that difficult. Oh well – wonder what happened to it…

No idea what happened to the original engine - I suspect it probably blew up spectacularly...

Lurking at the back of my sister's garage while a shed of a Z250 gets some undeserved attention - I'd have been better off sorting the Benelli.

Could have been a really nice bike - but I just didn't know how to make it work. Still got that Beetle, by the way - and the Krauser panniers in the background on the left!

Engine fits in there quite nicely.
