1978 Honda CB200

I bought this for in summer 1986 as a stop-gap. I’d sold my Superdream and was saving up for a CX500 to go on holiday. Paid £30 from a mate, then paid fifteen quid for his ‘good’ one when that blew up. Made one good one out of the two and sold it a couple of months later to another friend. Bloody loved this thing – because I didn’t care about bending it, it’d go anywhere my mate’s DT125 would go. I’d really like another one but they’re daft money now.

I'm sure there was a reason... It's a 10mm spanner in my gob, by the way, not a fag.

Fixing the clutch - just back from a booze cruise by the look of it.

If you lie it on its side, you don't need to drain the oil to fix the clutch... Note mighty Vauxhall Viva HC in background, as well as Woody's GS750 and Viv's Superdream, which I bought off him the following year.
