1977 SUZUKI GS750

Swapped with my future brother-in-law for an old Ford Escort in about 1988. I definitely got the better side of the deal… Changed the single disc front end for twin discs and forks from a GSX750, and the tank for a bigger GS850 version. Had it for several years. Broke down in the south of France when the aftermarket electronic ignition went up in smoke. Girlfriend identified all the charred components, we bought replacements and she soldered it back together on a pannier in a campsite!

Probably just before I sold it - wasn't usually ever that clean...
